Indoni
The power of Arts and Culture changing lives in a clear, fun and uplifting Tribal fashon.

Queen of Culture's Profile :

Thembelihle Mpofu, the current Indoni Miss Cultural South Africa, a 17 years old girl from Mahlalela tribe (Mlambo tribal authority). I live in mpumalanga province under Nkomazi municipality at Mbangwane. I am a grade 12 learner at Mgubho combined school. I am a very dedicated and determined person a goal oriented person who is eager to learn and enjoy new challenges. I am a school debate captain. I am energetic, confident and  having the ability to work with people from different kingdoms.

I entered the lndoni competition because I wanted to know more about my culture and my roots as a swati girl, because we live in the 21st century were traditions are ignored. I also entered the lndoni competition because I wanted to honour the blood of the heroes and heroines that sacrificed for our liberty and to appreciate 16 June 1976. And I am a girl who enjoy attending cultural ceremonies.

In the lndoni camp l learned a lot about my culture, respect young and old members of my community. We went to matsamo cultural village, and that revived my pride as an African and made me to be proud of my culture. Also learned consequences of having sex at an early age.
